Ping An’s AskBob Doctor is a clinical decision support tool that never stops learning -- powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and real user cases in hospitals and telemedicine.
As a natural language learner, AskBob scans and reads from research papers, diagrams, assessing health data, amassing a giant database that now covers more than 30,000 diseases, 170,000 types of medicine and 38 million clinical research papers.
Ping An's AskBob Doctor was put to the test at the 2021 International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Virtual Congress. It competed head-to-head with six endocrinologists from four hospitals in the International Human-Machine Competition on Diabetes Management. A panel of experts awarded AskBob 92.4 points and the human doctors 89.5 points.
